pull bullets out of your wallet

to make change

for the vending machine.
gas station miracles
place two aisles of crap,
stacked snacks,
a fortress for the fat

dressed up like a carwash
drive-thru.
beer
cigarettes–
check, check.

I’m good.
you good?
check please–
keep your receipt,
save them.

save us!
change, we need change.

change for the tip

off, cash exchanged
by the Chinese
printing press.
fireworks on paper
through the clouds
where eBay gets locked down to

handcuff a million
passwords:
one number,
one letter (in caps)
–at the least–

meh,
capitalism.
politics.
kneel

next to customers
at a steakhouse
mr. chef
gives his apologies
and credits,
take up the bill
for a meat too raw
and bloodied.

we are the customers,
consumers,
late night brooders.
okay baby boomer,
please excuse her–
conspiracies taste better packaged
behind glass and circuit boards.
isn’t that what news is for?

Robyn, now I can relate better to your writing, I liked the information you gave in the car, I could visualize you words. So good for me, I love you so much and want great things for you!, you are going to make Girl.

  2. An impressive share! I’ve just forwarded this onto a co-worker who had been conducting a little homework on this.
And he in fact ordered me dinner simply because I stumbled
upon it for him… lol. So let me reword this…. Thank YOU for the
meal!! But yeah, thanx for spending the time to talk about
this matter here on your web page.
