FRAThespians

Maybe I should try angels
because they mistake plaid
for “check hers”
and those chests
even though geometers
laugh at the cast
bowing for an encore.

I still don’t mind the format.

Symmetry is ironic, yes,
so they keep it simple
and follow the measurements
that are ruled by
sigma chi.
Doing whats right;
staying square.
Their brothers
don’t equal my twins
in the terms of algorithm
but all go rhythm
when the bass is dropped.

No qualifications for the cute
and too big personalities
have aspirations-obtuse.
With little question,
they will perform
—only in the lines—
saying they snort lines
because they know my drug-of-choice.
Can I get a “Drama?”

No, she’s not a lesbian,
she doesn’t wear plaid.
