Timid Love

Feeble egger minds
Make sense of the time.
Interpret the texts
Embellished with clues.
It’s so delicate.
They’re so confused.
Where to begin?
How to festoon?
The end has no end,
So how to resume?
They must be avid.
They must adorn.
He’s such a coward.
And she has sworn;
“No love,
“No love,
“No timid love.”
Bedizened in wishes
Sew hopeful in patches.
Nothing to repair,
She’d rather go bare.
