Thunderstorm

The storm is drawing nearer as you slip in and out of my mind.
A thousand drops of rain approach and im running out of time.
Thunder crashes in the distance, I can feel it pound
Like your heartbeat next to mine– now only with no sound.
How is it I can feel your presents, without your sweet embrace?
How is it I can let our love grow without you in my grace?
I think- I know- its true loves passing, though surely not like a storm
It will last a hundred kisses and lifetimes until forever more.
